Hillside is blessed to have retired pastors and Elders who teach our Sunday Formation Classes each Sunday starting at 9am. Some churches believe that Sunday School is a thing of the past, but we believe this is where people learn the most about God's Word and connect with one another.

Purpose
Adult Sunday School exists to help adults grow deeper in their understanding of God’s Word and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life.

Basic Information
Our Adult Sunday School classes provide a welcoming environment for Bible study, discussion, prayer, and spiritual growth. These classes are designed for adults who want to better understand Scripture, ask honest questions, and grow alongside others in the church family.

Ministry Goals

    1. To help adults become more confident in understanding and applying the Bible.
    2. To build meaningful relationships through discussion, prayer, and shared spiritual growth.

Our Life of David class is a Sunday morning Bible study designed to help adults grow deeper in their understanding of Scripture and their walk with God. Together, we look at the life of David—his faith, failures, courage, repentance, leadership, and dependence on the Lord—and consider what his story teaches us about following God in our own lives.

Our Romans class is a Sunday morning Bible study designed to help adults better understand the foundations of the Christian faith. The book of Romans walks us through the reality of sin, the grace of God, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, life in the Spirit, and what it means to live as people transformed by the Gospel.
