At Hillside, we believe children are a gift from God and an important part of our church family, and our nursery is no different! From birth to Pre-K our nursery kids learn about Jesus and prayer from a very young age.
Purpose
The Nursery ministry exists to provide a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment for our youngest children while allowing parents and caregivers to worship and participate in church with peace of mind.
Basic Information
Our nursery is available for kids from birth to Pre-K during our Sunday morning church service. Caring volunteers provide age-appropriate care in a secure environment where children are loved, protected, and introduced to the warmth of the church family.
Ministry Goals
1. To care for children with love, safety, patience, and joy.
2. To support families by helping parents fully participate in worship, teaching, and fellowship.
Safety First!
Your child's safety matters to us. Hillside has a church security team that helps make sure our kids are safe while families worship, learn, and serve. Our goal is to create an environment where parents can participate in worship with peace of mind and children can learn in a setting that is caring and protected.
Each one of our volunteers has been background checked by our Protect My Ministry procedures.
Meet Our Hillside Nursery Coordinator
Naomi has home schooled her own child and been involved in children's ministry for a number of years.
INFANTS
We have a welcoming nursery area that allows infants to sleep, play, and learn.
Toddlers
Our nursery welcomes children up to 4 years old. We have many games and toys for them to enjoy, and an interactive volunteer staff who will teach them about Jesus each week.
