HILLSIDE KIDS

At Hillside, we believe children are a gift from God and an important part of our church family. Hillside Kids exists to help children know Jesus, understand the Bible, grow in faith, and feel loved and safe each Sunday morning.
We don't see Children's Ministry as childcare while adults attend church. We see it as discipleship. Every Sunday, our goal is to help kids encounter the truth of God's Word in a way that is clear, interactive, age-appropriate, and challenging for their faith.
We want children to know that they are loved by God, welcomed by the church, and invited to follow Jesus with their whole lives.
Safety First!
Your child's safety matters to us. Hillside has a church security team that helps make sure our kids are safe while families worship, learn, and serve. Our goal is to create an environment where parents can participate in worship with peace of mind and children can learn in a setting that is caring and protected.
Each one of our volunteers has been background checked by our Protect My Ministry procedures.

Lisa taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Flroida for twelve years. She's also taught in a private Christian School in Guatemala for 2 years, and now works for two families homeschooling their children. She has also worked in Awana, children's church, and chidren's Sunday School over the last twenty years.
Sunday School - 9am Every Sunday
Each week we offer Children's Sunday School starting at 9am in our Church Basement. Curriculum is chosen so that each child feels part of the lessons, has fun, and learns more about who God is and how He is real in their lives.
Children's Church - Dismissed during our 10:15 Church Service
Our Children's Church program is led by Ms. Lisa along with an amazing team of volunteers, and is designed to help kids ages Kindergarten through 6th grade grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus. Our Children's Church meets during our church time each Sunday. The kids are called up front and prayed over each week before being dismissed.
During Children's Church, our leaders lead our kids through a curriculum geared for any child K-6th grade. Interactive activities allow the kids to have fun while learning more about the Bible.
